Lam Bespoke expands with second location in Memorial

The Lam Bespoke home decor store on West Alabama has been a favorite source of high-quality home goods for interior designers, and now the open-to-the-public store has a second location in the Memorial Green shopping center, 12525 Memorial Dr.
Patrick and Cathy Lam opened their first Upper Kirby store with a combination of furniture you can buy right off the floor and items you can have customized with different fabrics or trims. While interior designers have always shopped the home furnishings boutique for clients, the shop's luxurious furnishings have always been available to the public.
Popular interior designer Marie Flanigan of Marie Flanigan Interiors designed the store's newest location with a refined atmosphere and the balance, texture and light that are signatures of her residential designs.
The new store has European oak flooring and plaster counters and natural light flows in through big steel windows. Chandeliers and other lighting are suspended from an open ceiling, all painted a soft white.
A custom Gracie wall mural was hand-painted by master artists, and its serene landscape includes a group of four sheep, each one representing a member of the Lam family.
The store carries a variety of home furnishings -- chairs, sofas, tables and ottomans, which can be custom upholstered -- as well as decorative pillows, art, books, home fragrances, lighting, mirrors and other accessories.
