Lam Bespoke, a Montrose custom furniture shop, is opening its second location in a mixed-use project being developed by Houston-based Midway Cos.

Midway's 14-acre mixed-use Memorial Green will house Lam Bespoke's new location, which will be around 6,100 square feet, Midway's Ann Taylor told the Houston Business Journal. The shop's Montrose storefront is at 2032 W. Alabama St. near Trader Joe's; that shop will remain open.

"We are very excited to add an upscale home furnishing store to the retail mix of restaurant, health and fitness and boutique office in Memorial Green," said Taylor, vice president of Midway, in a release.

It's unclear when the Lam Bespoke storefront will open – the first portions of the Memorial Green project should deliver in 2017.

“We felt Memorial Green was ideal for our new store, because the urban village design also is timeless," said Patrick Lam, owner of Lam Bespoke, in a release." We are pleased to offer our clientele a beautiful, high quality and comfortable environment at our new location.”

So far, Memorial Green has signed tenants for 17,866 square feet, including the previously announced third location of farm-to-table restaurant Dish Society. The new restaurant will occupy 4,000 square feet and will feature a 1,300-square-foot patio.

Tenants such as Minuti Coffee Stores, Heritage Texas Properties and more have signed leases at Memorial Green.

Memorial Green, a luxury residential, commercial and retail destination will sit on about 14 acres at 12601 Memorial Drive, east of Beltway 8 and a few miles south of Midway's successful CityCentre project. There are 91 luxury single-family homes planned, a central green plaza and gated community parks, 50,000 square feet of Class A office space, and an additional 25,000 square feet of boutique retail and restaurant establishments.
